I am honored to be the 69th president of Roswell Rotary and proud to lead, as Past President Jim Coyle put it, "the best damn Rotary club on the planet!" Thanks to all the Past Presidents who helped me kick off my first meeting by passing the presidential pin through the many years of leadership they represent.
I am in Alaska for the next couple of weeks on a family vacation, so I am temporarily passing the pin back to Past President Lou Tabickman, who will run the meetings while I am gone.
Before we can connect with the world, we need to understand how Roswell became the vibrant city it is today. There was a time before the Mill and the large homes we now consider historic. Michael Hitt a retired Roswell police officer and history buff will give us great insights into what our community was like in the early 1800's. You won't want to miss the original drawings that depict areas and life in our city compared to modern day.
Join us at the Country Club of Roswell for a fun day of golf, tennis and good times. Simply click a logo to purchase a sponsorship or ticket to one of our great tournament events:

In case you missed your opportunity to provide input on the future of Roswell, we are helping to host one more community event. Please invite your friends and neighbors to join us at Gate City Brewing on Thursday, July 25 from 6-8PM. If you can't make it to the live session, please share your thoughts online.

Join us for the Annual Health Symposium focusing on the challenges and impact of the Global Polio Eradication Effort sponsored by the Rotary Club of Emory Clifton and the Yaraab Shrine Temple of Atlanta. If you are interested in participating let Bob Hagan know so we can reserve a spot for you at our table.

Join other Rotarians, family and friends (16 years old +) on Saturday, August 10, from 8:30AM to 1:30PM to patch, paint and freshen up the apartment for the next family. Drake House will provide the paint, but asked our volunteers to bring some brushes and rollers.
Please let Past President Lisa Carlisle or Service Projects Director Don Horton know if are willing to help out for a couple hours or more.

Bring a non-member with you to Variant Brewing and your first pint is on us. Don't think of this as a time-share sales pitch, but a casual way to introduce the people in your life that say, "what's Rotary?" to our club. This event is perfect for the 30-40yr old friends, family, neighbors, co-workers or employees in your life that have a heart for service and you think would be a great addition to our club.
