Special meeting Guests Thursday Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp & First Lady Marty Kemp visit Roswell Rotary
Our club will be honored with special guests on Thursday! Let's fill the gym and every table to give a warm RRC welcome to our Governor and First Lady. There will definitely be a focus on the incredible work to End Human Trafficking NOW in our community led by our own Dave McCleary and the Roswell Police Department. Don't miss this incredible opportunity to be up close & personal with our Governor and First Lady! You are encouraged to invite friends, family and colleagues. We are expecting every table to be full so come early and if you can, please volunteer to help with guests at the Visitor's Table! After Hours Hosts Two Services Projects
Roswell Rotary After Hours stayed busy last week! At their meeting, they sanitized and repackaged hundreds of pairs of earbuds that were left over from Rotary International Assembly. The earbuds will end up in the hands of students who are issued a learning device by their public school but can’t afford their own earbuds. Thank you, Gordon Owens for coordinating this meaningful project for the club! The club also volunteered at the Unity Garden at the Chattahoochee Nature Center for the first time this year! It was a wet morning but there was plenty of work to be done with the end goal of donating fresh produce to North Fulton Community Charities. Our next Unity Garden volunteer opportunity is Saturday, May 11--everyone is invited! The 25th Roswell Rotary Relays is coming up!
Please join us in
volunteering at Roswell Rotary Relay on Saturday, March 16 at Roswell
High School! This is the oldest and largest track meet in Georgia and
with an impressive 26 teams participating. Many volunteers are
needed to make sure that this historic event goes smoothly. Sign-up genius link

Our GRSP student Julia Toytari from Finland is in the second half of her year with our club. Last week she did great for her first time shooting! She was impressed at how safety conscious Georgia gun owners are! Before the end of the year she would love to go to the Aquarium, Island Ford National recreation area, the computer museum, MLK site, CNN, Swan House, Mary Macs, among others. Would you like to help arrange an outing with her and your family or friends? The future of the GRSP program is in your hands. When I call you to boost you up to the next level of support, please say "yes". The club will MATCH your contribution to push you over the top for a "win-win"!! Contact Betty Price at 678.525.2184.
