Congrats to Bruce Smith- winner of $2500 Rotary raffle.
From the Naval Academy to the MLB Next Thursday, our Rotary Club is honored to welcome Mitch Harris, a distinguished former Major League Baseball pitcher and U.S. Navy veteran, as our guest speaker. Mitch’s unique journey from the Naval Academy to the MLB offers inspiring insights into dedication and resilience. Mitch Harris began his baseball career at the U.S. Naval Academy, where he earned accolades such as the Baseball America Third-Team All-American in 2007. After graduating in 2008, he served in the U.S. Navy for nearly five years, achieving the rank of Lieutenant and participating in missions across the globe. Upon completing his service, Mitch made history by debuting with the St. Louis Cardinals in 2015, becoming the first Naval Academy graduate to appear in a Major League Baseball game since 1921. Transitioning to Wealth Management Following his baseball career, Mitch transitioned to wealth management, currently serving as a Sports & Entertainment Accredited Wealth Management Advisor™ with Merrill Lynch in Atlanta, Georgia. His commitment to excellence continues to be recognized, including being named in Forbes’ “Best-in-State Wealth Management Teams.” Join Us for an Inspiring Talk Mitch’s experiences in military service, professional sports, and finance provide a wealth of knowledge and inspiration.
