President's Message A small act of kindness can lead to a ripple of great change
My Fellow Roswell Rotarians, From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the time, effort, and generous spirit each of you poured into this year’s Roswell Rotary Golf, Tennis & Pickleball Tournament. Because of you, it was not just an event—it was a complete and total success. A special word of gratitude goes to Ryan Gehricke and his committee for their tireless dedication in leading the charge. You all did an incredible job. To Mindy, Rich, and Bob, thank you for your outstanding work making the tennis and pickleball tournament such a great part of the day. To all the volunteers, thank you! We would not have been able to do it without you. We could not have asked for better weather, and I truly believe my father was smiling down on us from heaven, proud of what we accomplished together. As we celebrate this success, I’m reminded of a simple truth: “A small act of kindness can lead to a ripple of great change.” What may seem like a single swing of a golf club, a serve on the court, or a contribution from the heart becomes something far bigger—it becomes impact. Each of you demonstrated that spirit, and our community is stronger for it. Thank you, Roswell Rotary, for showing once again what service above self truly looks like. Thank you, each and everyone of you! Sic Vos Non Vobis,
Trummie Lee Patrick III State Farm Insurance No Meeting Today
After all the hard work on Monday hosting the Golf, Tennis & Pickleball Tournament, we will NOT have a meeting this week! But rest up because we will be hitting it hard next week Sept. 18. Heroes Among Us: Embracing Each Day to the Fullest
Today, we reflect on a day that has forever changed our nation—September 11. This solemn occasion reminds us of the heroes who emerged in the face of tragedy, showcasing courage, resilience, and the unwavering spirit of humanity. In our community, we have our own heroes—first responders, healthcare workers, educators, and countless individuals who selflessly serve others. Their dedication inspires us to appreciate every moment and recognize the extraordinary acts of kindness happening around us daily. As we honor those lost on that fateful day, let us also celebrate the heroes among us by committing to live each day to its fullest. Whether through acts of service, lending a helping hand, or simply sharing a smile, we can embody the spirit of resilience and hope. Please pause today for a moment of silence, to say a prayer, to perform an act of kindness- honoring our heroes and pledging to embrace life with gratitude and purpose. Together, we can make a difference in our community and beyond. Remember: Every day is a new opportunity to be a hero in someone else's story. 50-50 Ticket Winner Drawing Thursday Sept. 18
The 50-50 contest was such a huge hit that we wanted to share the moment the winning ticket is drawn with our whole club! So be at the Sept. 18th meeting to be part of the excitement and joy for the winner. If you bought a ticket, you can still have hope! Anticipation! Fellowship Christian Interact Clubs Cranking up
